Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Lukos Piszczeski has agreed a new contract with FC Bayern Munich.
The 26-year-old joined Mönchhausen last summer for a fee of €17m.
“We are pleased to announce that Lukas will now join FC Bayern as a new signing,” the club said in a statement.
“We are sure that Lukos will provide a good competition for the best players in the Bundesliga.”
The club said Piszcski will join in time for the 2018-19 season.
The German international had been on the fringes of Möncheschausen’s starting line-up until late in the campaign, scoring only once in eight Bundesliga appearances.
He made his first-team debut against Mainz in October and then started every game up to that point for Mönchen until being sidelined with an injury.
Piszczyksi is the third Dortmund defender to join the club after Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel, joining a trio of former Bundesliga players who have been on Klopp’s books: Christian Pulisic, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mats Hummels.
