A mini chain of chain saw more than $5 million in business in the first week of December, according to company filings released on Wednesday.
The chain, which opened in January, is now operating in more than 20 countries and boasts more than 4,500 employees.
The company said that revenue from its new chain grew to $5,878,965 during the first three months of this year, from $4,976,897 the previous year.
The increase in revenue came as Bosch’s business and profitability rose in 2017.
The company said it expects the growth to continue, especially in its markets, where its sales are already strong.
“The success of our brand in Europe and the Americas continues to drive continued momentum for Bosch,” the company said.
The Bosch chain is in a tough spot.
The small chains are struggling to survive on traditional retail margins.
Their growth in Europe is slowing.
And the consumer market is shrinking.
It’s an issue the company is trying to address with its mini chains, which offer convenience, cheaper prices and longer shelf lives.
